Truck Treks: Bui’s Lunch Truck
The other day, coming back from the gym, my friend and I felt like having something filling and full of protein. So I figured, what would be better than having a Philly cheesesteak: a wonderful sandwich loaded with skirt-steak, cheese and grilled onions. He told me that we should go to Bui’s, a truck popular among students for its egg sandwiches.
I went for the cheesesteak with “Bui’s sauce,” arguably what the truck is most famous for. This was one of the best cheesesteaks I have ever had, taken to the next level by the sauce. The sauce looked a bit like a thousand island sauce but tasted like it was a kind of bell pepper sauce. Overall, it complimented the cheesesteak very well. The bread was also very fresh, crunchy on the outside while being slightly fluffy on the inside.
