CHOW NOW: Casablanca Food Cart
Sometimes it’s the little things in life that make my day, like when I stumble upon something good to eat. This past week, I tried the Casablanca food cart on 36th and Spruce.
I dropped by looking for a quick lunch and walked away with the grilled chicken platter. The couscous may have been a bit dry, but the service was great—the lady at the cart has a smile as bright as the taste of her tabouli. The meat itself was hot and flavorful and the hummus was quite unique; it had an almost grainy texture that paired nicely with the fluffy pita that’s included in every meal. Middle Eastern food with a smile… what’s better than that?
