Spiced Pear Oatmeal Bake

This pear oatmeal bake is the perfect breakfast option for fall. It’s super easy to make and you can switch up the portions or ingredients as much as you like! Bake it on a Sunday night and you’ll be good to go for breakfast all week! Just reheat it in the microwave and it will taste just like it was freshly baked!

Ingredients

  • pear 1
  • rolled oats 2 cups
  • baking powder 1 teaspoon
  • salt 1/4 teaspoon
  • cinnamon 1 teaspoon
  • ginger powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon
  • egg, beaten 1
  • milk 1/2 cup
  • vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
  • maple syrup 1/2 cup
  • pecans or walnuts or any nuts, chopped 1/4 cup, optional
  • Medjool dates, pitted and chopped 1/4 cup, optional
  • Directions

    Preheat oven to 375°F

    In a large bowl, combine oats, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger powder, nutmeg.

    In a medium bowl, combine egg, milk, vanilla, and maple syrup

    Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix together

    Fold in the nuts and dates and pour into an 8×8 baking pan

    You can use the pear however you like! Top with pear slices and dashes of cinnamon or chop up the pear and toss it into the oatmeal

    Bake for 20 minutes
