5494477361_fc784825db_oPennsylvania has a ton of great things to see and do for both locals and those who have come for a visit. Nothing compares to the amazing food and restaurants that line the streets of Pennsylvania. Whether you’re out pricing PA car insurance or shopping at one of the malls, the chances are pretty high that you’ll find some amazing food somewhere along the way.

Breakfast
If you’re strolling around the streets of Philadelphia in the early morning hours or even if you’re out looking for somewhere to have a good brunch, you can take solace at the Green Eggs Café. There are currently three different locations for this particular eatery in Philadelphia: Northern Liberties, Midtown Village, and South Philly, all of which are amazing.

The breakfast options at the Green Eggs Café are exquisite with a ton of variety. It’s easily one of the most popular places to eat in Philadelphia. If you’re planning to grab a bite on a busy weekend of the month, you’ll probably need to wait to be seated because of sheer prowess this restaurant holds, but it’s well worth it. The service is amazing and the waiters are extremely quick, usually having orders placed within just minutes of customers sitting at the table, and the food usually doesn’t take long either.

Their signature dish is something called the Kitchen Sink, which is comprised of scrambled eggs, vegetables, home fries, and a biscuit smothered in their signature gravy sauce. Not only is the food delicious, but you’ll get quite a lot of it.

Lunch
Hidden in the heart of Philadelphia, you’ll also find quite a few restaurants that do lunch quite well including the ever-popular French eatery Lacroix. This particular restaurant can be found in Rittenhouse Square inside of the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Lacroix is a restaurant for those who are looking for amazing food without a lot of hustle and bustle, the atmosphere extremely laid back and relaxing. Inside, you’ll find a variety of luxurious furnishings, creating quite a nice sophisticated touch to this French restaurant and truly makes it stand out from the others.

The food options at Lacroix are also fairly unique, some of them being signature dishes that are extremely popular with those who visit or live in Philadelphia. As with any upscale dining, the dishes at Lacroix are prepared in three courses and although they may seem like small proportions, it’s actually a good bit of food after it’s all said and done. The dessert menu will change depending on what day you visit so be sure to ask the server about their current options.

Dinner
When it comes time to choose a place for dinner, you can stay right inside Rittenhouse Square and walk to the Devon Seafood Grill for some of the highest quality seafood cuisine and an extremely impressive selection of wine. If the weather is nice enough, you’ll be able to enjoy your meal on their balcony, having a view of Rittenhouse Square that is absolutely beautiful at night. This restaurant has quite a sophisticated atmosphere to it, but it’s casual enough to be very relaxing and it’s really a good place to eat after a long day in the city.

They are known for having some of the best seafood in the area and if you’re looking for an upscale dining experience with delicious seafood entrees, you’ll find it here at the Devon Seafood Grill.
