Chow Now: Chez Yasmine

Food truck cuisine isn’t always what you expect. I’ve suffered through the occasional bland taco and soggy noodle bowl—but this week I was pleasantly surprised by a delicious Tunisian baguette at my new favorite sandwich cart, Chez Yasmine.

Located right across from the Quad, this elegant lunch stand serves up fresh sandwiches, salads, couscous bowls, and even the occasional Tunisian soup or tagine. This week my crispy baguette was filled with fresh tuna, hard-boiled egg, mint, parsley, and a brightly flavored roasted pepper, onion, and tomato mixture. To top it all off, it was drizzled with two bright streams of lemon olive oil and spicy harissa sauce. Beautiful—not to mention delicious.
