Federal Donuts has confirmed that they are opening a space on Sansom Street in University City. The location, set to be next to Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House on 3428 Sansom, will be opening in early 2014.

Located in West Philadelphia, Rx the Farmacy has updated its menu in time for fall and has also added a $35 pick your courses option. Some new selections from the menu include Tie-Dyed Salmon, Vegan Shepherds Pie, and a Sage & Nutmeg Gnocchi. Rx the Farmacy is located on 4443 Spruce Street.

Crime and Punishment is opening in Brewerytown. Planning on opening in 2014, their beers have already been sampled at Pizza Brain. It most recently previewed House Arrest Farmhouse Ale and Truancy, a peanut butter and jelly flavored beer.

The American Sardine Bar has announced that its guest sandwich for October goes to Ian Brendle. Brendle, who is from Green Meadow Farm, created a duck reuben sandwich he made from his own fermented sauerkraut. The American Sardine Bar is located on 1800 Federal Street.
