Freshmen Fridays: Kiwi Wednesdays

Kiwi froyo

There are few things I love more than frozen yogurt. I’ve mastered the perfect swirling technique so each flavor ends in a perfectly formed peak;  I’ve developed a method for layering toppings and yogurt so that there is an equal ratio of topping to froyo in every, delectable bite. In other words, you could say that I’m a froyo connoisseur.

Just a short walk away from the Quad, Kiwi is nothing short than the answer to all of my froyo fantasies. While it does not have quite as many flavors as some other yogurt franchies, what it lacks in quantity it more than makes up for in quality, as its seasonal flavors (moon pie and butter toffee popcorn?!) and constant variety never disappoint. It’s in the toppings department that Kiwi really sets itself apart from its competitors, as where else cab you put s’mores bars, pumpkin pie, and cheesecake bits in a single cup?

Plus, every Wednesday for the month of November Kiwi is offering specials to its customers. Last Wednesday, I received a free Kiwi t-shirt, this Wednesday I get 50% off with my student ID card, and the next two Wednesdays promise me a 15% donation to charity with my purchase and a free yogurt. So I encourage you to join me for Kiwi Wednsedays, as I have come to call them (I should be fairly easy to spot in my Kiwi t-shirt, a yogurt in each hand). I promise it won’t disappoint your expectations.
