5 Years, $5 Pizza Special at Zavino!
On Monday, January 12, popular Italian restaurant Zavino Midtown Village (112 South 13th Street, 215-732-2400) will celebrate their Fifth Anniversary with all-day “5 Years, $5” Specials at both their original location and their newer sibling, Zavino at Chestnut Square (3200 Chestnut Street, 215-823-6897). Available for all dine-in guests from 11:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. in Midtown Village and until 10 p.m. in University City, birthday specials will include $5 Pizzas, allowing guests to choose any of Chef Carlos Aparicio’s gourmet creations, as well as four $5 Wines by the Glass, with two red and two white options.
Guests will choose from a wealth of $5 pizzas, including: Margherita, their take on the classic with mozzarella, crushed tomato and basil; The Joey, topped with Berkshire pork sausage, mozzarella, crushed tomato, spinach, garlic, chili flakes and provolone; and The Stache, a whole wheat crust topped with pistachio pesto, mozzarella, parmesan, lemon vinaigrette and baby arugula. Wines will be chosen by Zavino’s bar staff to complement the pizzas, with two reds and two whites available for just $5 per glass all day and night long.
Zavino Midtown Village is open from 11:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, until 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays and from 12 noon until 10 p.m. on Sundays.
