Ignite: Firing up Tomorrow’s Chefs

WHAT:  Careers Through Culinary Arts (C-CAP) Philadelphia Hosts ‘Ignite: Firing Up Tomorrow’s Chef’s,’ a special Chef tasting and sampling event, where Philadelphia-area residents can help raise funds for culinary scholarships and job training for local underserved youth. C-CAP provides training and curriculum enrichment programs for 11 Philadelphia high schools including job training and internships, cooking competitions and scholarships, college advising, career advising, alumni relations and product donations.

Chef Partners include Belle Cakery, CCE Catering, Continental Mid-town, Heirloom, Jin + Ja, Le Castagne, Modo Mio, Mia & Me Catering and R2L to     name a few.  A national nonprofit, C-CAP manages the largest independent culinary scholarship programs in the United States. Since 1990, C-CAP has awarded students $40 million in scholarships and donated $2.9 million worth of supplies and equipment to classrooms.
