 Last Call: Lucy’s Hat Shop, located in Old City is closing after 15 years of  business. Lucy’s is expected to remain open until the end of the year, and then  a CVS will be put in its place. Make sure to check out this old city staple, which  offers two bars.

 Livin’ at the Porch: The Porch at 30th Street Station is continuing  through November with their food truck calendar. Every Wednesday, the  food trucks Lucky Old Souls, Cherry Bomb Bus, Just Jackie’s,  and Buttercream Cupcake will be present from 7:30 am to 2 pm.  On Friday‘s Pitruco Pizza, Taco Mondo, Reuben on Rye, and Sweet  Box Cupcakes will be present from 7:30 am to 2 pm as well. Breakfast will  also be offered Monday and Tuesday, featuring Undrgrnd Donuts  and Schmear It. 

Opening: Chef Jose Garces is opening Rosa Blanca on Chestnut Street. The restaurant will feature Cuban cuisine. One of the main features to look forward to are mojitos with fresh pressed cane sugar. The restaurant is meant to open in early November.
