News Feed: Thanksgiving 2013 Edition
On November 29th, The Lodge at Waterfront Winterfest will open. Called a “new seasonal experience”, it will have seasonal cocktails for 500 people, and also will have a menu that is representative of the holiday seasons. Some items include Smoked Turkey Legs, and Caramelized Pumpkin Donuts. Some seasonal drinks include Warm Mulled Apple Cider, Spiked Chai Tea, and Hot Cocoa.
Level 33 at the Loews Hotel is serving “Thanksgiving with a View”. It’s a three-course meal with a fixed price at $48 for adults. The menu will be complete with traditional Thanksgiving options such as turkey and tenderloin. There are three options for seating at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m.
If you’re looking for a Thanksgivukkah meal, Zahav is the place to be. They’re offering classing Thanksgiving items, with a mixture of Chanukah items for a unique dinner. Meals are $39 per person, and offer items such as hummus with braised brisket and challah donuts with burnt marshmallow and sweet potato.
Supper is also offering Thanksgiving dinner. Offerings include Sweet Potato Soup with Cinnamon Marshmallow, as well as turkey. Meals are $60 for adults and $32 for children.
For $125, you can have a family style meal including an 18 pound fried turkey, pumpkin cheesecake and sides such as garlic mashed potatoes at Varga Bar. The meal is meant to feed 6 to 8 people.
Thanksgiving buffets are also being offered throughout the city. Locations include London Grill, Bistro St. Tropez, and the Glenmorgan Bar & Grill at the Radnor Hotel.
PYT has brought back its famous Thanksgiving Burger (see image above) just in time for the holiday. The burger is made of a deep fried turkey leg meat patty, and finished with sides typical of Thanksgiving, such as mashed potatoes, bacon stuffing and cranberry spread. The burger is only available for a limited time.
